WELCOME TO MY ANNA MOORE & THE CHAMPIONS WEBSITE!

I accidentally discovered Pedigree's Anna Moore doll while collecting famous Pedigree cousin, Sindy. Modeled after UK Olympic Show Jumper Silver Medalist ANN MOORE, little Anna was a serious rider.  Smaller than Sindy, little 10 1/2 " Anna and 11 1/2" friend Peter were produced in the mid 70's and were totally devoted to equestrian pursuits.  Fully jointed, Anna, Peter and their horses Happytime and Sundancer could be posed in an almost endless array of realistic riding positions.  The outfits and accessories were amazingly realistic and accurate, and provided many young horse lovers their own miniature equestrian paradise. 

While I enjoy collecting Anna, I have been a bit frustrated at the lack of information available on the internet.  Thank goodness for Frances Baird's Anna chapter in her iconic BRITISH TEENAGE DOLLS 1956 - 1984!  I am hoping that other fans and collectors will see this site and contribute their expertise and suggestions.  Please enjoy the information and treasures that I have found, and please feel free to contact me with your information and images.
