Thank you for posting this comparison photograph as it clearly shows the differences and similarities of the dolls, particularly the face of Sindy and Anna Moore. Like you, I too have acquired my AM doll through collecting Sindy dolls - I was attracted to her because of her facial resemblance to Sindy plus she is jointed in a similar way to my ‘Exclusive to Debenhams’ Sindy dolls, which are quirky and attractive in their own right.
I now understand why she is stamped on the back of her head in the same way as Sindy because she was also made by Pedigree - although before I came across your page, I thought that her head belonged to a Sindy relative and had been placed on the wrong body, a conclusion arisen from the fact that I have a double cup, hard head Sindy who has the arms and hands of Action Girl!
As I already have several types of doll collections, I will probably only keep this particular AM doll, find her a few outfits and maybe a horse, although I already have three - two for Sindy and one for Barbie! Growing up though I had a Barbie, a Sindy clone doll and another unidentifiable fashion doll, I never wanted a toy horse, probably due to having a real pony in the family!
However, I will enjoy discovering more about Anna Moore and her accessories.
